Greek League Semifinals, Game 4: May 30, 2007
Sofoklis Schortsanitis - Olympiacos Olympiacos stayed in the race to win the Greek League title by thrashing Aris TT Bank 92-68 to tie the best-of-five semifinal series at 2-2. Aris hosts Game 5 in Thessaloniki on Sunday and the winner will meet Eurolague champion Panathinaikos in the best-of-five finals. Sofoklis Schortsianitis proved his value, as he returned on the court after being sidelined for one month to lead the winners with 15 points on 6-of-7 two-pointers in just 11 minutes. Henry Domercant, who was held scoreless in Game 3, had 18 points on 3-of-4 two-pointers and 3-of-3 triples. Panagiotis Vassilopoulos added 13 points while Ryan Stack had 12 points for Olympiacos. Alex Scales had 22 points for Aris, Terrell Castle added 15 while Mike Wilkinson got 13 for the guests. Olympiacos outrebounded Aris by 39-20 and led 42-28 at halftime. Aris did not recover, as it trailed 71-57 and was limited to just 11 points in the final period, enough to seal the outcome.
