| On behalf of Euroleague Basketball, I wish to extend my sincerest gratitude to our clubs, players, coaches and fans for their generous donations this week to "Help Us to Help Them", the children of Haiti's devastating recent earthquake.
At the start of the Top 16, in basketball capitals from Moscow to Madrid and everywhere in between, the call went out to give assistance to humanitarian aid programs for Haiti.
With their public announcements and personal appeals, our competition's stars showed their solidarity with the victims of a natural disaster half a world away.
Going beyond their words and gestures of sympathy, many Euroleague stars supported this effort with their own personal donations. |
